GAME MANIA

I'm drawn to designs and fashion with an identity. Spaces that leave an impression resonate with me. I like to take risks and though I am pretty much a new englander on many levels, a part of me definitely belongs in L.A. ! With that said, I love the work of  L.A. designer Wendy Schwartz , it's edgy but livable. I really can't wait to move, I'll use my place as a laboratory of sorts....I'll be sure to try a few over the top but tasteful ideas..They usually photograph beautifully. Happy Wednesday. 

I love Shades of Light. They are my "go to" for everything from chandeliers to table lamps. They also have great furniture pieces and rugs! Be sure to see their entire site for more amazing pieces. Here's a small sample of their diverse selection. I'm dying to use this chandelier on a project.

I love to mix classic and modern elements in my designs. I've always loved vintage glass, Ruby Beets can custom make you a lamp from a selection of french bottles {sample above}..that's also an idea for my "CarBoy" find! {below}

Turned wooden lamps - in a causally chic kind of way.. This lamp is named Colby {my son's name} - It was a possibility for my living room, the name might of sealed the deal, plus it will work well on the credenza I am designing for the television. Chandeliers and pendants are the perfect way to enhance a dining area. I often tell clients that if they don't have the budget for a dining room overhaul that a dramatic paint color on the walls and a beautiful new light source on a dimmer switch will transform a lackluster room!!
